The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures is developing a risk management and disclosure framework for organisations to report and act on evolving nature-related risks, with the ultimate aim of supporting a shift in global financial flows away from nature-negative outcomes and toward nature-positive outcomes.

With the energy and extractives sectors having a range of both dependencies, risks and impacts on nature and biodiversity, the Green Finance Institute (Host of the TNFD Secretariat and convenor of the UK National Consultation Group) is bringing together businesses across the sector to learn more about how businesses might be affected by nature; how to support a shift in global financial flows toward nature positive outcomes; and the future adoption of the global TNFD framework.
